Social Responsibility

Gigajoule’s first social responsibility project was the construction of a community kitchen, which is supplied by Natural Gas at no cost for the local community in Matola, to have a safe and clean energy source to use for cooking. 

Gigajoule, through its subsidiary companies, is upgrading schools, towns, refuse removal in the Ressano Garcia and Matola districts. MGC is the main sponsor for the Costa do Sol football club that became the league winners in 2018.
